Used to be good, now terrible!
These 'used' to be great - I used and rely on these combs in the 4 pack for many years; over the last year or so the quality has changed; the combs are much thinner and they break after a few uses
There is a larger size shell comb - which I find is still great BTW, as of April 2024
Why on earth would you change a great product, there's many other options out there..

Not fit for purpose
I bought a 4-pack of the BLACK side combs. They do not slide into my hair properly, the teeth catch and pull my hair. Because it is not possible to tuck them into place properly, they fall out of my hair quickly.
I have bought the 'shell' colour combs in the past, and had no problems with them - they are cheap and cheerful, they last about a month of use before the tips of the teeth fray, making in the combs difficult to tuck in. I consider those reasonable value for money.
I don't know whether it's the quality of all (black and shell colour) combs has deteriorated recently, or if the black combs have always been bad. (Or if I was just unlucky with a back batch of mouldings.)
